Police emerge champions in Women’s Kabaddi League

Police Kabaddi Club emerged champions in the Women’s Kabaddi League beating Ansar Kabaddi Team by 26-25 points in a thrilling final at the National Kabaddi Stadium in the capital on Tuesday.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner and Police Kabaddi Club President Md Shafiqul Islam BPM (Bar) distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.

Earlier, Police beat Meghna Kabaddi Club by 34-14 points and Ansar beat MK Sporting Club by 54-10 points in their respective semifinals on Monday.

Meanwhile, a total of 11 teams took part in the league which was held after 9 years.
